Hi:
I just went to http://www.lhsl.com/ <http://www.lhsl.com/> , Scansoft's
Corporate website (developers of Dragon Naturally Speeking) and according to
their product details, XP is supported. Maybe your student's current version
is not but if you are going to purchase something, consider upgrading. The
only other similar product I was familiar with was Lernout and Hauspie but
they have gone bankrupt.

Subject: Fw: Dragon Speech and Voice pas with winXP
Hello Everyone,
I have a student with Parkinson's who sometimes has trouble typing in his
distance learning classes. He uses Dragon
speech and Voice pad but says that both are incompatible with winXP. Does
anyone have a suggestion for what might work in this case?
Thanks,
