All, I'm the developer-emeritus of an Open Source CAD (Computer-Aided
Dispatch -- see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer-aided_dispatch)
application targeted to use by public and private emergency response
organizations. (See www.ticketscad.org)

The application is data-intensive - lots of live tables - and
semi-real-time.The usual Open Source suspects -- PHP, MySQL, and
JavaScript -- are the engines we employ.

We've been approached re what we can provide of equivalent functionality
for use by a blind dispatcher, which explains my presence here.

Any information re pre-existing similar or possibly-related projects or
activities will be appreciated.
