Hi Listers,
In testing an application here at USDA, Farm Service Agency, I am having a problem and I am sure there is some success criteria I can site for this problem. When using the keyboard, with or without JAWS, there is a time out which happens. I am sure this is tied to not moving the mouse in a certain length of time. Do any of you know what WCAG2.0 criteria this is breaking?

But the idea that there is only a timer for non-mousers sounds more
like an unintended bug rather than a feature.

It sounds like a subtle and deadly mix of 2.1.1 and 2.2.1 ...
That is, if the required possiblity of extending the time out was made
available, it would pass 2.2.1 ... since the time out is fixed wholly on
the mouse though, and the keyboard is not registering as far as "activity"
is concerned, then ... 2.1.1, keyboard navigation.
Maybe even 2.1.2 "no keyboard trap" by a poetic stretch of the imagination
: we are in the page but no one can hear us.
...I'll probably be shot down on this one, seem to be batting about 30%
these days on successful WCAG commentary. We live and learn ....

Are you also testing your website using speech recognition software (e.g., Dragon) without a mouse?
