During the December meeting of the Subpart A Subcommittee we decided to meet
again on January 4th. My apologies for forgetting to post the meeting notice
on the calendar. Below is the logistical information for that call and the
agenda. Although we have captioning service reserved for the meeting, due
to the late request on my part we are not assured that a captioner is
available. If - when we convene the meeting tomorrow- a captioner is not
available to meet our needs we will reschedule the meeting. My apologies for
these oversights and glitches- I appreciate your tolerance.

Subpart A Subcommittee January 4, 2007 Agenda
Each subcommittee has been requested to address the full TEITAC committee in
February and report on work to date. A set of questions have been framed to
guide the committee's report to the TEITAC. In preparation for the February
meeting we have decided to use the questions put forward to guide our
discussion and recommendations.
a. As a subcommittee member, do you feel like you understand the current §
508 standards and the §255 guidelines and how they are/are not working in
today's federal/business/consumer environment?
b. Are there any missing pieces of information that you need? Do you need
input from a specialist or expert on a particular area, as it relates to the
current standards and guidelines and how they are / are not working?
c. Do you have any recommended changes for the committee to consider?
d. Is there anything you need, either from the Access Board or someone else
that will help you complete your work? Do you have an understanding of how
you are going to accomplish your work?
