Hi Jared, and everyone,
Thanks for the edits.

Here is my edited version.

Re: changes of members to the Committee: the Access Board needs to track
that, since we are responsible for recording (in another FACA database)
information on Committee representatives and alternates.
So, I need to be told, as well as Mike and Jim of any Committee
membership changes.

I will send this announcement to the members of the Committee today via
email [I will put their emails in the bcc line], AND I will also put the
listserv email address in the CC line.

Any comments, suggestions welcomed.

Tim

I made a few changes to the draft message. Undo as necessary. I
propose that this message be sent only to the main committee mailing
list, then posted prevalently on the web sites. This will avoid
duplication of sending it to multiple lists. This info is primarily
for committee members anyways, not the public.

- I made some changes to the wording about the committee mailing list.
There is not a very clear method for ensuring that only committee
members are allowed on the committee mailing list. If someone
subscribes, I have no way of knowing if they are someone new to the
committee or not. I propose that if organizations must inform Jim and
Mike of committee changes, that they (Jim and Mike) ensure that the
list at http://teitac.org/wiki/Committee_members is kept up-to-date. I
will use that as a guide for allowing subscriptions to the list. I'm
not overly concerned about a few extra people being on the list,
unless they use the list to send needless messages to the committee. I
could set that list to be moderated to filter out noise. Thoughts on
this?

- I added Mike and the the Access Board staff to those who can add
calendar events.

- I propose that we make calendar administration available to
subcommittee cochairs if they desire, but do not require them to do
so.

Jared
