Tim:

I can empathize that it must be difficult finding a federal location that
can host our group with all the requirements. But I want to stress that the
requested internet access was not so we could simply get email at different
points of the day. It is also used to communicate with others in our
organizations during the course of the TEITAC meetings on issues being
discussed, via email and instant messaging. That¹s important to us.

Not knowing budgets, I¹m wondering if you considered looking into hotel
meeting space. There are dozens of hotels with break-out rooms, internet
access, etc. that are set up just for this sort of thing. And, there would
be the added benefit that those from out of town could stay at the same
hotel. Depending on the number of room-nights booked, the meeting space can
often be reserved at a discount especially considering the fact that we
will do this multiple times over the next several months. Just a thought
for next time (and maybe this time too, if there is availability).
