Before purchasing I was hoping to find out if a copy was already
available. The Standards theme says ..
The discussion held 9 November 2006 identified certain needs in order to
manage referral to external standards:
distribution of the external standard to TEITAC members so they can review
it, without requiring members to purchase those standards

Re: [teitac-hardware] ISO standard for Harmonization with External
Standards
Hi Gina,
You can purchase a copy of HFES 200 from the Human Factors and Ergonomics
Society (HFES) at www. hfes.org. I believe that you can purchase a copy
of ISO 9241-171 from ISO (www.iso.org). Both of these are software
standards. ISO 9241-xxx is a multi-part standard.
You might also want to look at ISO 9241-20, which is a mid-level standard
for accessibility of IT devices (computers); that is, it sets general
requirements for entire systems. In turn, it references several other
sections of ISO 9241 that are more limited or specific in scope, eg.
displays.
Best regards,
Tom Albin
