David:

You have stimulated my thoughts. I actually think there are many more
than 5 categories in your taxonomy. Thinking completely generically
about hardware and sensory inputs / outputs, I made a top-down list of
my own (see attached). I'm thinking ahead to the future, when things
like haptics, smell, temperature, and other human interfaces may come
into play (look at the Wii remote...).

See what you think of the break-down. Have I included everything in
your list? Of course, the table would need to fill to the right with
your other categories.

BTW, last week Rob and I put together a list of the "hot issues". What
happened to that? Did you guys go over it in last week's meeting? I
feel like we're jumping around a bit here...
