Thanks, Tim.

That does clear up the date questions, but I feel like I'm out of the loop
when I see one set of dates in correspondence and another on the WIKI. Was
the WIKI wrong, or did the date change?

Now this still leaves the question of delivery of the roughest of drafts, so
that folks that must implement this can get an early sense of how things
might break...

Best,

Rex

Hello Rex and everyone,
Let me jump in here for a clarification:

The date of the next face to face TEITAC meeting is May 22-24, 2007. The
Wiki calendar should be amended shortly.

"... will prepare an interim report to the Access Board's May meeting on
May 31, 2007."

N.B .: The "Access Board's May meeting" refers to the bi-monthly
meeting of the U.S. Access Board (federal and public members) itself. The
Access Board, through the Board liaison, Jim Elekes, has asked for a report
on the status of the TEITAC and its work. This report is to be given to the
Access Board from the TEITAC's co-chairs, Jim Tobias and Mike Paciello.
They will give a report to the Access Board on May 31, 2007. The Access
Board meeting dates are found here:
http://www.access-board.gov/about/meetings.htm

I hope that clears up the dates.

Tim

Jim,

Two things -

DRAFT? - I'm hoping that not only will you release templates for draft,
you'll also release the FIRST DRAFT. I'd like to have a date of such a
draft to send to my constituents, followed by the first draft for met to use
to solicit their comments.

A second point - I don't understand the timing outlined in your note:

1. "EWG will present its proposals for the Final Report at the May 22-24,
TEITAC face-to-face meeting,"

The WIKI calendar says the meeting is May 21-23
Thanks,

2. "... will prepare an interim report to the Access Board's May meeting on
May 31, 2007."

The meeting's not on the 31st, and if the report is intended for the May
meeting, the 31st is too late.
