May 2, 2007
Here is the agenda for the upcoming May 2007 meeting.
[This will be posted on the Access Board Website tomorrow]
Goals:
1. Discuss and adopt an approach for the format of the report,
based on report and recommendations from the Editorial Working Group
2. Discuss subcommittee recommendations and attempt to make a
preliminary determination of any recommendations which have developed
sufficient consensus to be included in the TEITAC report.
Please note the following:
Day 1 (May 22) will consist of reports from each of the subcommittees to
the full committee in plenary session. The subcommittees will discuss
the recommendations made by that subcommittee in their portion of the
report to the full TEITAC. In the time allotted, there will be
discussion to see if consensus can be reached on any of the proposed
recommendations for inclusion in the full report. In the afternoon of
Day 1, there will be a presentation and discussion by the Editorial
Working Group on possible formats for the final report.
Day 2 (May 23) continues with the remainder of the subcommittee reports
to the full committee in plenary session. There will be a working
lunch, consisting of a 15 minute presentation, followed by subcommittee
meetings (not plenary, but open to all) in the afternoon.
Day 3 (May 24) commences with a two hour discussion of the Editorial
Working Group proposal from Day 1. The remainder of day will be
subcommittee meetings.
