Hello TEITAC members,

At the last meeting, there was a request that the Access Board (and
other relevant agencies, as necessary) respond to questions posed by the
TEITAC about the Electronic and Information Technology standards and the
Telecommunications Accessibility guidelines. After the meeting, several
committee members were kind enough to send questions. The initial
emails were quite voluminous, and the ultimate questions were reviewed
and distilled down to the questions presented and answered in the
attached document.

These responses have been reviewed and vetted by both the Access Board
and GSA, so you may rely on these answers during the course of your
discussions.

We hope that this information is useful to the TEITAC. Please do not
hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Thanks to all of you for your hard work. We could not revise these
standards and guidelines without your expertise. We are deeply
appreciative of your time and effort expended in conducting the work of
this committee. We will do our utmost to assist you in completing your
task.

We look forward to seeing all of you next week.

Sincerely,

Tim Creagan
