Oh...since it was used in the General meeting on Monday I thought
everyone knew about it...

Well I am going to cheat and copy from the Hand Raising Utility page:

The Trace Center <http://trace.wisc.edu> developed the online hand
raising utility to facilitate participation in online teleconferences.
Basically, the program provides a way for participants on a phone call
to be able to "raise their hand" and get in line. As the person chairing
the meeting recognizes people, they can remove them from the list. The
tool has provisions to allow individuals to be recognized out of order
if that is appropriate. But the order in which people raise their hands
is always maintained.

When this was used on Monday for the General teleconference it allowed
for a more orderly meeting. If you want I will ask Greg if it is
available for use by all of the sub committee...

I am not familiar with the technology. Is it something we need to
reserve or are you able to give instruction?
