We will have our regularly scheduled meeting today from 1 - 3 PM Eastern
time. The agenda is now posted. [1]

Looking back at the various ideas and comments on reorganizing the Web and
Software sections, I think this is our most important task to complete
before the August 17th deadline. We don't have consensus on any of the the
proposals put forward so far. In fact, I would say that none of them have
gotten strong support.

So what I'd like to do today is look at each provision or set of provisions
around a certain issue (like contrast) and discuss the following:

- inconsistencies within the 508 proposed provisions
- harmonization, or lack thereof, with ISO and WCAG
- applicability to different types of content and software

For this discussion, we will be using the comparison table that I started
for my original reorganization proposal. [2] If possible, please review
this comparison table in light of the above discussion areas before the
meeting.

If we complete this discussion, we will move on to the other topics on the
agenda.
