For video and audio on their own the obvious term would be monomedia.
However a slight simplification can be made if we use the term media to cover video, audio and video with synchronised audio.
Multimedia as used in this standard includes any content, static or
interactive which includes concurrent media. Examples include (insert format references). Example of content which is not considered as "multimedia" for this standard are,
(insert examples).

Q: Is independent video or audio considered multimedia? If not what
term applies to them specifically?
