TEITAC Committee Members:

(Apology for the length of this e-mail.)

Following is the editorial review process aligned with the TEITAC draft
delivery and meeting schedule as specified on the TEITAC wiki at:
http://teitac.org/wiki/Delivery_Plan_2007. We believe this process promotes
the need to review the TEITAC draft holistically and still maintain an
optimal level of quality control.

This complete plan will be posted in the TEITAC Wiki Home Page with a
crosslink from the EWG home page. If you have questions, please send them to
Jim Tobias and Mike Paciello.

Draft Review Period of Sept 10-14:

The following revisions and editorial comments will be accepted up to and
including Friday, September 14th. The EWG will post the draft on Monday,
September 17, by 9:00 am EST. This draft will remain frozen for the 5-week
review period of September 17 - October 19.

1) Accept and implement any draft comments from any TEITAC committee member
whose comments are strictly editorial in nature. Grammer, spelling, plain
language (that
does not change the meaning, intent, or purpose of the provision).
Implementation by EWG editors takes place during Sept. 10-14 EWG roll up.

2) Accept and implement any provision revision that is approved by the
subcommittee and submitted by the Subcommittee Co-Chairs to the EWG.
Implementation by EWG editors takes place during Sept. 10-14 EWG roll up.

3) Accept and implement all provision metadata edits. We are encouraging
each subcommittee to review the metadata associated with your assigned
provisions and provide us with the appropriate detail. Implementation by EWG
editors takes place during Sept. 10-14 EWG roll up.

4) Imbed Preamble, Introduction, Appendix and/or existing resource material.
Implementation by EWG editors takes place during Sept. 10-14 EWG roll up.


5-Week Draft Review Period of Sept 17 - Oct. 19

The following revisions and editorial comments will be accepted up to and
including Friday, October 19. The EWG will post the draft on Friday, October
26 by 5:00 pm EST. This draft will remain frozen for the 2-week review
period of October 29 - November 9.

1) Accept any provision revision that is approved by the subcommittee and
submitted by the Subcommittee Co-Chairs to the EWG. Maintain these updates
in a
separate Wiki page so they standout for all committee members.
Implementation by EWG editors occurs during Oct. 22 - 26 EWG roll up.

2) Accept any provision revision that is proposed and approved by the TEITAC
committee during the two plenary conference calls on Oct. 9. Oct. 16, Oct.
23, and 30th. Maintain these updates in a separate Wiki page so they stand
out for all committee members. Implementation by EWG editors occurs during
Oct. 22 - 26 EWG roll up of Final Draft.

Special Note: The TEITAC committee agreed that we would include approved and
recommended final draft changes resulting from the Oct. 30th TEITAC plenary
conference call into the Oct 29th - Nov. 9th review draft.

3) Accept and implement any draft comments from any TEITAC committee member
whose comments are strictly editorial in nature. Grammer, spelling, plain
language (that
does not change the meaning, intent, or purpose of the provision).
Implementation by EWG editors takes place during Oct. 22 - 26 EWG roll up of
Final Draft.


Final Draft Review Period of Oct. 29 - Nov. 9

The following revisions and editorial comments will be accepted up to and
including Friday, November 9. The EWG will post the draft on Friday,
November 9 by 5:00 pm EST. This draft constitutes the Final Draft prepared
for the TEITAC Nov. 13-16 meetings.

1) Accept any provision revision that is approved by the subcommittee and
submitted by the Subcommittee Co-Chairs to the EWG. Maintain these updates
in a separate Wiki page so they standout for all committee members.
Implementation by EWG editors takes place by Nov. 9 for final draft
provision by provision review durng Nov 13 - 16 meetings.

2) Accept any provision revision that is proposed and approved by the
TEITAC committee during the plenary conference calls on Oct. 30. Maintain
these updates in a separate Wiki page so they stand out for all committee
members. Implementation by EWG editors takes place by Nov. 9 draft review in
time for final draft provision by provision review durng Nov 13 - 16
meetings.

3) Include minority report drafts in the review draft period of Oct. 29 -
Nov. 9.


TEITAC Committee Provision-by-Provision Review Period of Nov. 13 - 16

1) Accept and implement all provisions reviewed and approved by TEITAC
committee. Results posted in the Nov. 19-27 EWG roll up final report.
