HI Larry,
"Pushing" through a consensus isn't necessary. Speaking on behalf of
the Board, "Minority Opinions" on the update/refresh are welcome. It
provides both Board staff and Public Board Members a greater depth of
knowledge and, allows us to consider all sides to a concern.
Ultimately, the Board's Committee believes this will result in a
overall more effective Standard.
Once the NPRM is published, those with dissenting/oposing opinions
can further provide thoughts/documentation during the Public Comment
period. Discussions can be expanded, data provided with the Final
Rule having been considered from all reasonable aspects.
Just some thoughts from this quarter.
