I know this issue was raised previously. I'm just responding to what
was requested of me and what is currently on the meeting agenda. I'm
happy to spend my time wherever the group feels it will be most
beneficial, whether during the allocated time, during a lunch break,
or another time altogether. While I can understand that the more
technical folks may see this as a waste of time, there are many that
would benefit from having the training within the main meeting time.
And it would certainly be nice to have everyone's attention for at
least some time - the small amount of time that I have to spend
supporting these tools is now almost entirely being spent answering
tech support questions ("How do I send a message to the list?") and
fixing people's mistakes (not securing RCC or not posting meetings to
the calendar). I feel that taking 30 minutes of everyone's time at the
meeting would save me (and probably many others) hours of time and
loads of frustration later.
