Jim, Mike and TEITAC Members,
Just reviewed slides to be presented to the Board tomorrow. I regret
I will not be in attendance as I'm in training with my Guide Dog,
Virtue's "successor". Virtue is now retired, enjoying retirement at
Casa Elekes and enjoying her South Carolina Beach Villa. Hmmm, a "Dog's Life?"
Her successor, "Maggie, is a Yellow Labrador/Golden Retreiver Cross
Breed, 68 pounds and 28 inches at the shoulder. While slightly taller
than Virtue, attitude, demeanor and friendliness are near identical.
May I take this opportunity in my capacity as an Immediate Past
Public Member/Presidential Appointee to the Board and, its TEITAC
Liaison to express my personal thanks to all involved in the TEITAC
process. In reviewing the Final Recommendations, Minority
Reports and, Slide Presentation, it is clear the TEITAC has worked
in a collegiate, thoughtful manner sharing its diverse and
specialized technical knowledge, skills and abilities to produce
these products in a clear, readible style that will be eminently
understandible by the Board's Public Members and staff as they
proceed to the next steps in this process.
It has been my privelege to have had the opportunity to be affiliated
with a group of individuals with the high level of technical
expertise and commitment to this process.
