I think an email to the conveners/chairs explaining what to do, how to use it might help, asking them to mail to the listserve, post meetings, register for an id, edit the subcommittee wiki, put their member companies up, asking subcommittee members to signup for the listserve and send out the link to do so. I know several of the conveners have not done this and are moving ahead w/ subcommittee meetings w/o guidance.

HMmmm

It wasn't me who was looking at using W3C tools. It was Judy Brewer I
believe. But in a call yesterday I heard her say (I think) that the W3C
tools could NOT be used. Bruce you might want to call Judy and get the
right answer - but I thought that is what I heard. I hadn't seen this
email at the time so I didn't note the comment carefully so I could be
wrong. But I remember being disappointed.

(PS I had also wanted to use their survey tool for other standards work - or
get a copy of it to post other places but was unable. That is a VERY useful
piece of software as well). Bruce, have you ever seen anything else like
that?
