Subject: Conference call in numbers for TEITAC #4

Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of setting up conference call in numbers for the
TEITAC #4 at NSF.

This will allow any committee members or members of the general public
to call in and participate.

QUESTION: How many committee members (AND WHO) intends to call in?

Please send me your name and affiliation by Wednesday May 16, 2007, so I
can tell the operator.

This also needs to be posted on the website, so your expedient response
is appreciated.

I'm thinking of reserving 35 call in numbers. I'm figuring that will be
enough for any committee member who intends to call in AND for members
of the Public. This is based on our experience with the call in numbers
at TEITAC #3 (Feb. 2007 at TSA) and TEITAC #2 (Nov. 2007 at ED)

Thanks,

Tim

Tim,

I think you mean 35 call-in lines? That will be plenty for the Web and
Software subcommittee. We generally have no more than that calling in for
our weekly calls and many of the weekly participants will be at the face to
face meeting.

Do we need the names and affiliation of the people who intend to call in

normally do it for our subcommittee calls.

Andi,
You are correct: 35 call-in lines. Thank you for letting me know that
this will be enough for the expected volume of callers.

For those calling in, as opposed to attending in person, I need your
name and affiliation, so that I can tell the operator to "un-mute" you
for the entire day. Persons calling in who are not identified as
members of TEITAC will be un-muted during the Public comment portions of
the meeting, and during the subcommittee meetings.

This is the same procedure we used on previous call in lines for the
Feb. and Nov. TEITAC meetings.

I need the name and affiliation of the TEITAC members, so that the
operator can know who they are. Anyone not so identified as a TEITAC
committee member will be treated as a member of the general public.

The operator will Un-mute the TEITAC committee members at all times
during the calls so they can speak out at any time. Members of the
general public will only speak during designated public comment periods
or at any time during subcommittee meetings, subject to the order of
being called upon, which I understand will be handled by the
subcommittee chairs as they run the subcommittee meetings. (As was done
in February)

Please let me know if anyone has any questions on this, thanks.

RE: [teitac-committee] Conference

call in numbers for TEITAC #4

Andi,
You are correct: 35 call-in lines.

Tim,

I think you mean 35 call-in lines? That will be plenty for the Web and
Software subcommittee. We generally have no more than that calling in
for
our weekly calls and many of the weekly participants will be at the face
to
face meeting.

Do we need the names and affiliation of the people who intend to call in
for the subcommittee meetings? We didn't do this last time and we don't
normally do it for our subcommittee calls.

Andi

[teitac-committee] Conference
call
in numbers for TEITAC #4

Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of setting up conference call in numbers for the
TEITAC
#4 at NSF.

This will allow any committee members or members of the general public
to
call in and participate.

QUESTION: How many committee members (AND WHO) intends to call in?

Please send me your name and affiliation by Wednesday May 16, 2007, so I
can tell the operator.

This also needs to be posted on the website, so your expedient response
is
appreciated.

I'm thinking of reserving 35 call in numbers. I'm figuring that will be
enough for any committee member who intends to call in AND for members
of
the Public. This is based on our experience with the call in numbers at
TEITAC #3 (Feb. 2007 at TSA) and TEITAC #2 (Nov. 2007 at ED)

Thanks,

Tim

Thanks, Geoff,

I assume that Larry Goldberg will be there in person all 3 days?
