Subject: agenda for today's AV call
Hi, Everyone:
Larry will not be on today's call, so Tony and I will co-chair the
meeting. Here's an agenda:
1. Review section 4 (http://teitac.org/wiki/
EWG:Draft_May_30#4._Additional_Provisions_for_Audio-
Visual_Content_or_Players.2FDisplays)
2. Review section 6.3 (http://teitac.org/wiki/EWG:Draft_May_30#.
5B6.3.5D_If_Audio_and.2For_Video_content)
3. Review definitions for "captions" (http://teitac.org/wiki/
EWG:Draft_May_30_Definitions#CAPTIONING) and "video
descriptions" (http://teitac.org/wiki/
EWG:Draft_May_30_Definitions#VIDEO_DESCRIPTION)
It will be a busy call so I hope to get things started shortly after
3:00. See you all later today.

Can you also look at the provision for "Player - Audio"
C. Play Control (Audio)
The product must provide the ability to interrupt, pause, and restart the
audio at anytime.
It seems to say that AUDIO players must allow user to stop etc but I don't
see a similar provision for AV (multimedia) ??

should not be part of the AV standards. This is a software (or
