product with color vision deficits.
sounds as if the product has color vision deficits?

1.1-A - Without Vision
At least one mode must be provided that allows comparable access to
product without using vision, directly or via AT.
This may just be my strange reading of this, since the intent is clear
but I don't think the grammar/syntax is. It groups vision/directly/via
AT as a set and that tends to confuse my ageing mind. "directly or via
AT" might serve better if used parenthetically after "product"?
