Subject: This Week's Assignment
At our meeting today we determined that it would be useful to review all
proposed TEITAC provisions and their relationship to Closed product
functions. We will each review the proposed provisions in the latest EWG
document to determine:
* Provisions that apply only to Closed product functions.
* Provisions in sections (other than the General section) that apply to
Closed products as currently stated.
* Provisions in sections (other than the General provisions) that are
applicable to Closed product functions but are not applicable as written.
Once applicable Closed provisions are identified we will determine:
* Does it apply to all Closed products?
* Does it apply only to closed products with shared use?
* Does it apply to Closed products intended primarily for private use?
Please feel free to add to this structure if I've missed or misstated
anything. And feel free to post your results prior to the meeting next
Friday since this info will inform that discussion.
