Subject: TEITAC Subcommittee Shut Down

Fellow TEITAC Colleagues and Members of the Public:

During our committee meetings last week, the TEITAC agreed to shut down all
subcommittee work and listservs, effective immediately. All work and online
discussions will be facilitated through this TEITAC listserv, weekly plenary
conference calls, and face-to-face meetings.

Members of the public who are following TEITAC progress may continue to do
so by referring to our web archives at:
http://teitac.org/mailarchives/archives.php?id=1.

Additionally, TEITAC conference call plenary meetings may be listened to by
the public. A special 10-minute period is scheduled at each meeting for
members of the public to participate at 2:45 pm each meeting. The schedule
for the conference calls can be found on the TEITAC Refresh web page at:
http://www.access-board.gov/sec508/update-index.htm.

Regards and thank you,

Yes, we will keep the listserv archives (and a static version of the
wiki) available for as long as possible. It really depends on the
generosity of NCDAE.

Bruce, (and Mike and Jim)

I'd like to suggest that the archives be available "for the duration,"
that is until the final rule for the new 508/255 standards becomes
effective, plus at least 6 months. Or is that what you were thinking
when you indicated "available for some time"?

Greetings.

During the plenary committee meeting last week, the TEITAC agreed by
consensus to shut down all subcommittee work and listservs, effective
immediately. All work and online discussions will be facilitated
through the committee members-only TEITAC listserv, plenary conference
calls (weekly, starting November 27th), and face-to-face meetings. The
subcommittee archives will remain available for some time.

Members of the public who are following TEITAC progress may continue to
do so by referring to our web archives at:
http://teitac.org/mailarchives/archives.php?id=1.

Additionally, TEITAC conference call plenary meetings may be listened to
by the public. A ten minute period is scheduled at each meeting for
members of the public to participate at 2:45 pm each call. The schedule
for the conference calls can be found on the 508 Refresh web page at:
