Subject: Importance of self-contained products
Here is a comment from the JBMIA (Japan Bussiness Machine and?Information
system Industory Association) in which office equipment suppliers are working.
The Office equipment industry has developed copy-based office equipments
complying with the 1195.25 of the Section 508 standard since 2002.
So far most of manufacturers increased their lineup of products which
were developed for the 1194.25.
As a result, there also are some office equipments supporting voice
guide or speech recognitionis for operation.
We must say in a way that the 1194.25 gives this kind of development
results.
I think that 1194.25 shall not be deleted though can be modified
partially .
I feel that the abolition or drasticall change will not give users,
buyers or suppliers any benefits.
