Agree with both items.
Unless chairs (J&M) feel they NEED more people on this - we shouldn't add
more.

Hi All,
Well, I'm having fun; hope you are!
1. I propose that we limit calendar editing privileges to Access Board
staff, Mike, me, and the Subcommittee leaders/chairs/conveners. I certainly
have no objection to Jared, and it might seem arrogant and ungrateful to
exclude him, but I propose to do so for the sake of role clarification. Of
course, certain practicalities may intervene: Jared, is it even possible to
remove yourself as calendar admin?
2. I propose to not accept new members for the Tools task force. We're not
limiting input by doing so, as everyone is invited to suggest, advise, warn,
etc. If you agree we need to remove the listserv invitation from the wiki.

I think you need to add Jared to that list, but other than that I'd concur.

I think we need to restrict calendar editing rights to Access Board, Mike,
me, and subcommittee co-chairs (once those are selected; using temporary
folks until then).
Can we get an instantaneous decision?

Thanks, Jared, for setting up the Google calendar. Now, unfortunately,
there will be a lot of stuff to put on it! Do you want to open up its admin
so that anyone on this working group plus the subcommittee co-chairs can add
and edit entries? Or will someone from the Access Board act as calendaring
secretary?
I'm just finishing an interface where anyone can add events to the calendar
- http://teitac.org/calendar The Add Events form isn't done yet, so don't
use it or share this yet.
As before, Google Calendar users can subscribe to the calendar to be able to
view it. Anyone can adminster the calendar, but they need to be a Google
Calendar user and I need their Google e-mail address to give them admin
privileges. It would be nice to have a few others able to add/edit/delete
events, preferable subcommittee chairs.

Below is the message, item 2 specifically, where I misunderstood Jim to
be recommending we remove the communication task force page from the
Wiki. Hence my rather bizarre clarification question to him on the
call. Obviously I should have re-read it at least once more!
I would actually like to argue for keeping the subscription invitation
available, at least to committee members. We have benefited
significantly from Andi's contributions, and I suspect she appreciates
being kept informed on our communications. I think we should extend the
same courtesy to the other committee chairs and conveners.

I have to agree with you Bruce. Andi's contributions have been very helpful.
I'd like to second your motion to keep the subscription invitation open.
Perhaps we could acknowledge to the TEITAC committee members (via Tim's
email notification) that we have received significant contributions and are
looking for a couple of more members to round out the task force.
