Subject: AV subcom meeting today (3-4pm ET)
At today's meeting I would like to continue the discussion about
requirements for video source hardware (set-top boxes, DTV and analog
receivers, new and old generation DVD players, etc.). The issues will be
centered on caption and subtitle and video description playback and
accessible user interfaces.
We will also recap the outcomes of the face-to-face meeting two weeks ago
and talk about the new schedule for work completion being discussed by the
planning committee.
