Subject: Next meeting(s)

In the last meeting of the AV subcommittee, we agreed to start meeting
weekly on Wednesdays at 3pm to come to completion on the items we need to
create draft recommendations on.

The call-in and FRCC information is posted on the wiki at:
http://teitac.org/wiki/Audio_Video#Meeting_Schedule

The agenda for this week is:

Assignments for the development of drafts language on the following issues:

- open and closed captioning and description requirement for web-based
media, including synchronization requirements.

- hardware requirements for analog and digital broadcast/cable/satellite
caption and description decoding (those distribution technologies under FCC
jurisdiction).

- hardware requirements for non-FCC regulated video sources (DVD players,
etc.)

- accessible user interface requirements for all of the above (when not
already covered by the software group).

Due to a scheduling conflict, I won't be able to make the meeting; Tony and
Geoff will lead the discussion.
