We will try to resolve all discussions and come to consensus on
definitions.
The attached document is an attempt to summarize the issues related to
definitions. I have identified where the term under consideration is
referenced in the law, the standards, the current definition (if one
exists). I have attempted to summarize or capture excerpts of the
discussion points that have been raised through the list serv. The
document
also contains the Suggested Change to the definition, and then space to
identify comments, remaining questions and finally space for the
workgroup
to identify what will be the final recommendation or action related to
the
issue.
The attached document is not complete. I will continue to work on it.
If
we are able to complete the definitions during our meeting we will move
on
to address Exceptions that have been raised. We will need to schedule
another meeting to address the many issues surrounding application and
the
implementation of best value, best meets, etc.
