What are the most common screen magnifiers in use among the general
public? And what are the most common ones in use by government
employees (if it's different)?

Do many people use Windows XPs built-in Magnifier?

And are there any stats out there on how many people are using each
type of magnifier?

Thanks!
Rachel

Here in Canada most academic and corporate environments are using ZoomText.

For anyone using a tablet PC who wants to use the handwriting feature, you
have to use the Windows Magnifier. It works well in conjunction with the
Input Panel. You can leave the speech of ZoomText on but not the
magnification when using handwriting on a tablet. MAGic won't work at all on
a tablet.

Most of the people who are using MAGic use it at home unless they own their
own business. Some folks use Lunar but again it is for home use not in
school [unless they are using their own computer] or at work.

I can't think of a school board, bank, business, or government agency that
uses MAGic It is ZoomText.

Cheers, Karen

At our agency we use ZoomText, and most folks also use ZoomText at home.
I believe that this is true for most state agencies in Texas. I have not
heard of any agency that is using anything else.

I have not heard of anyone who uses the Windows XP or other built in
Windows magnifier that needs a serious magnification solution, unless
the software or hardware they are using does not support ZT.
