I am posting the following as this exercise appears to be completely accessible with JAWS using Flash format.

It's not accessible with Voiceover, that's for sure. Just played some
music. There was nothing on the page other than saying "earthquake
quiz" and links taking me back and home. Is there supposed to be
content to interact with? Maybe it works with Snow Leopard. I need to
upgrade ;)

With JAWS there were quetions and buttons that were readable that advanced
to the coices that were identified with readable buttions in JAWS 11. The
text was properly labeled and I was able to complete the exercise using JAWS
11 and IE 8.

This is a good example of Flash which is moderately accessible without any effort on the part of the developer. Yes, the text is accessible since the Flash player exposes text by default. Fortunately the layout is simple and the reading order is correct (at least until the results slide). The buttons to progress to the next screen in the quiz should be labeled but they are not, and although some users will guess correctly what the button is for it is better to take the 4 or 5 seconds to label this image-based button.

Accessible Flash will not work with VoiceOver yet as accessibility on the Flash Player today is Windows-only.

Thanks,
AWK

Hi all,

I just played the game. In the beginning, I couldn't tell where the
"Continue" button was. I think maybe Jaws isn't announcing the
buttons... It just says, "Unlabeled button" and whatever the number of
the button is. Anyway, I figured out where the "continue" button is
which makes the questions come up. That was interesting. Thanks.
