Has anyone here used the mobile screen reader "Talk Back" that comes
installed on the newer Android phones?

I played around with Voice Over on my iPhone, and quickly discovered that
accessible mobile development is very different from desktop development. If
the element isn't visible on the page so you can touch it with your finger,
you won't know it's there. So hidden items like skip links, labels, etc. are
useless. I'm curious to know if Talk Back works the same way.

Android's web browser is not yet accessible with Talkback so the comparison
is not possible at this time.

Actually, that's not true. I tested it out briefly on DeviceAnywhere using
the T-Mobile myTouch last night.

I'm glad that you were able to get different results than what Google
engineers report is possible at this time. Perhaps you can tell us the
answer to your original question then.

My experience with it was brief, and I couldn't figure out quite how it
worked. Hence the reason for my question.

I should have my hands on a myTouch in the next couple days and will report
what I find. I'd also be curious to hear if it works with the new Dolphin
browser for Android. I had a chance to test that browser yesterday on a new
device from another manufacturer and it works quite well.
