Subject: Focusing select menu on form error a problem for mobile?

One interaction standard that has been out there for a while is to focus
the first errored form field. On mobile devices such as the iPhone if a
select is focused on form error the default scroll wheel appears. I'm not
a frequent mobile user, so don't know if this has usability issues or
furthermore accessibility issues. Any thoughts on this practice? Does
this give more evidence for always focusing, let's say, the error list? Is
form field focusing OK and if the select menu is the first errored form
field do we just not focus anything? I have always been a fan of focusing
the first form error as long as the conditions are right...

Because of lack of feedback I'm going to write this off as a non issue.
Focusing a select menu after a form submission and error does not have any
accessibility or usability concerns. Feel free to do so in your own work.
