Do any of you know if the following is true for forms in Microsoft Office 2010? "Form fields created using ActiveX Controls and Content Controls do not work properly with current assistive technology."

Thanks,
Lolly

Hi

This is true as far as I know (at least from a screen reader
perspective), see url:
http://www.freedomscientific.com/doccenter/archives/Training/accessible-forms-in-word.htm

Jaws, whatever else people can say for or against it, handles Word
documents pretty much as well as any Windows screen reader can, others
have more difficulties.
Word is simply not a good format for accessible forms. However, it
could be a good source document for producing PDF, HTML, or another
more accessible and easy to use output format.

Using the 'old' non-activeX form controls in Word will work with Jaws.
