Seeking participants for a usability study

*How do you read the news?*

We’re looking for people to be part of a usability study on either *Wednesday
December 11th or Thursday the 12th.*

We’re interested in how you read the news. During the session, you’ll try
out a new version of an online newspaper while we listen in to see how well
it works for you. Can you read each story easily? Use the site to find the
information you want?

For this study, we are looking for people who are:

- Blind or have low vision
- Read the news online
- Use a laptop or desktop computer or an iPad

Sessions will last 90 minutes, and will be held in an office in mid-town
Manhattan, with convenient access to Port Authority and the subway. You
will be paid $100.

If you’re interested, or know someone who is, please contact *Sandy Olson *ASAP
at * = EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED = * < = EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED = > or call her at
*510-420-8624*.

I'd love to, however, I do not live in the New York area.

did you get enough? i'm not low-vision or live in NYCity, but i belong
to a mailing list that's centered in NYC and it might be a good place to
try to get more people if you need to. the list has been around
"forever" and i'd be happy to make a message to it, if you'd like. Or,
of course, you could join it .... I haven't written to thyt list in a
while but i don't suppose it matters, not particularly active on this
list, for that matter.
