Hello all,

I am doing some R&D on SVG and how to make the content displayed with SVG
accessible. Unfortunately I could not find much information online. Have
any one worked on them who can give some tips to make a SVG content
accessible or any pointers to the concept.

Thanks & Regards
RP

There is a W3C note on SVG accessibility, written by Chaals McCathie Nevile. It dates back to 2000, but still has some relevant information:
http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG-access/

I wrote a SitePoint article with some tips on making SVG accessible:
https://www.google.com/search?q=SVG+accessibility&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Plus a blog post with some of the research that went into the above article:

This article by Doug Schepers looks at authoring tools and SVG accessibility:

Chaals also gave a talk on SVG accessibility at FrontEnd Conf CH a couple of weeks ago. The slides are here:

Videos of the talks will be posted on the conference website sometime soon, so keep a look out to watch Chaals' talk when it's available:

Lastly, you might be interested in the work the W3C SVG Accessibility Task Force is doing. We're collecting requirements and other information here:
