Subject: Usability Testing with Screen readers

Hi Everyone,

I have recently talked my team into focusing on accessibility, and to round
out what we have learned from online courses, articles, and groups we
wanted to run a usability test where our participants would be users of
screen readers. Do you have any suggestions about the best way to conduct
this test? I was thinking of having it remotely; so that they could use
their own computers, but that leads has its own complications with setup.
Any advice would be welcome.

There is a company called Loop 11 that specializes in remote testing. I think that Knowbility works with them on remote testing with people with disabilities. You could reach out to either company.

Hello,
What our company does when we perform UX testing with screen readers for
companies is an audio and video recording of the computer using OBS Studio.
There is the screen of the computer, audio from the computer and audio from
the computer's microphone.
Then we write out the important sections in a document and give both the
video and document to the development team.
