Are there any good tutorial or instructions on how to synchronize a text
file and a flash clip?
I also have read that they should be synchronized, but understood that to be
for sound or a true "movie" clip that showed for example people doing
something. This is a seamless presentation of text. Before you had to....
Now you can..... any images are pure eye candy and not directly related to
the text. Does this still have to be synchronized?

My (extremely limited) understanding is that it should be synchronized,
neither before nor after.

This is a hot topic -- strictly speaking you should. But in a real world
where there isn't always the budget or time to do this, and considering
your circumstances, I think a separate text description is perfectly
fine.

a) it would be helpful to see what you are talking about.. is there an URL?

b) If it is text, have you considered making it into an OperaShow? You
can make it one document (readable to anyone who can read a web page)
and also have it formatted using CSS for full-screen/slideshow
presentation. It would also be able to be read by the search
engines.... If I could see what you were talking about, I'd know how
feasible this suggestion is.

ps -- more details on OperaShow will be included in the series below,
but not for a little while longer.
