What have you found to be the most effective teaching method for a screen reader user to be successful in an Intro to Econ online course? How does your answer change if the course is wholly online?

Many thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

Hello,
I can't speak to online specifically, but I am a blind student (screen reader and Braille user) finishing an economics major so I can give my $0.02 in general terms. There are many graphs in economics, so having offline sighted help will be essential in the beginning. There's also the question of following lectures and turning in either graph-based or math-based assignments. Not to mention access to the course textbook. I think my contributions (as not specifically web-accessibility related) go beyond the topic of this list, so please write me privately so I can provide some suggestions. This is definitely doable but presents challenges along the way.
Sarah
