Hello everyone

I hope you are doing well

the situation goes like this

· One of my clients, have a button with text. until the form is
complete , the button is disabled. When the button is disabled, the
Contrast between the text and the background is very low

· the question is, if according to the WCAG 2 SC 1.4.3 the disabled
button are excluded from meeting this success criteria?

The sentence

"Incidental: Text or images of text that are part of an inactive user
interface component, that are pure decoration, that are not visible to
anyone, or that are part of a picture that contains significant other
visual content, have no contrast requirement."

is somewhat confusing Because, a disabled button is indeed inactive at
some time but can become active in another time

So a disabled button must confirmed to the minimum contrast ratio required
on WCAG 2 SC 1.4.3 or not ?

While the button is disabled, it is exempt from minimum color contrast
requirements. When it is enabled, then it must conform to 1.4.3
