No, no, no - you don't need to use images for structure!
All you need to do is next your divs in such a way that the div with the
border contains the largest element, then it will automatically size to your
content.
I would suggest that the central column should contain the right-hand column,
and have the border set on the left - at the moment it looks like you have
set the right-hand border of the left column, or the central column does not
contain the right-hand column.
