Yes, it's set to "Read the entire document" and it does read the whole document successfully.
I just ran JAWS in 40-minute-mode and JAWS also read it while automatically changing pages as it reads. So now I'm even MORE curious about why NVDA won't to it, ha!

Go to preferences for the adobe application, then "reading", then look at the "screen reader option" of "page vs. document" and look to see if it is set at "only read the currently visible pages."
