developer training on accessibility?

(*Apologies for the cross-posting.)

Hello,

I am posing the following questions on behalf of a colleague who is
currently looking at putting in place training for our
developers on accessibility as part of a larger curriculum for that
audience.

1. Do folks here have any recommendations for vendors who provide generic
off-the-shelf eLearning that covers the fundamentals of
accessibility geared to an IT audience? I am looking for eLearning
courseware that would include some basic test questions, in addition to
content. I've already looked at the SkillSoft catalogue, but their
courses, from a high-level look, seem to be geared specifically to web or
windows topics and accessibility, as opposed to a
high-level overview of accessibility, why it is important, etc.

2. I would also be curious to know how folks here provide
accessibility training to their developers. Specifically, does
anyone here offer in-house courses
on accessibility (either off-the-shelf or internally developed). How are
these delivered? Are they compulsory? On demand?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jennison
