I'm very interested in working in the field of web accessibility.
I do have a fairly good understanding of labeling and other html
issues, however, I am not as strong in AJAX and other issues that are
currently coming up around accessibility.
What skillsets would I need to get a position say at webaim.org or
National Federation for the Blind?
Currently, work for a private contractor and I build or work on sites
for the federal government. I do my best to keep current 508 issues
and coming changes. I prefer to build using standards based coding.
I also write help files and in a previous position did a great deal of
training both in groups and one on one and wrote documentation.
Thank you
