There's no reason that that site couldn't be more accessible with a little effort. There are challenges around how to best represent some of the animations in that section, but the same issue needs to be dealt with for animation if provided in a complex animated gif or non-flash movie.

I'm wondering if Flash will ever be accessible to a screen reader,
wehn I could see I was able to create things like this

I'd sure like to be able to get back into Flash again. Try the
animations section.
