I don't know if all A/T products provide "pass-thru' keys, but ZoomText
does. Pressing ALT with PAUSE lets ZoomText ignore whatever next key or
key-combination immediately follows.

So, for example, with ZoomText running, ALT+HOME will jump your
scrolling to the left. As a ZoomText user, you want to use that
sequence to jump to your home page, using Internet Explorer (a default
behavior in IE) you would use ALT+PAUSE followed by ALT+HOME, (letting
the ALT+HOME "pass thru to IE.)

JAWS's Pass-thru keystroke is: JAWS 3 (NumPad Insert with the NumPad 3).

Mentioning use of a pass-thru key sequence for A/T users may be helpful
if standard A/T keystrokes are stolen for the page or app.

Subject: [WebAIM] accesskey and P3

So - if I aspire to P3 accessibility, and wish to provide a few access
keys, which would be, at once, the most helpful AND the least likely to
conflict with accessibility software? MyZoomText already conflicts with
a variety of web browsers.
Thanks all, and Happy New Year.
