VSA Arts of Texas is a good starting point for Audio Description Resources. They do live audio description for live performances and movies here in Austin and provide training and assistance for people creating training videos and other multimedia that would benefit from audio description. They have also taught courses on audio description at Knowbility's AccessU and Accessibility Internet Rally (AIR) events.
