Hi Dan,
At the risk of coming off as a jerk (I have that effect sometimes) what
exactly is a JAWS interface? Does this mean that the application will not
work with WindowEyes, NVDA, Voice Over, Hal/Dolphin or any other screen
reader? There is a problematic issue with testing and developing for a
specific device/software, as any organization that previously leveraged
ActiveX and IE6 has painfully been made aware of over the years.
If it was a simple matter of poor choice of words, then I urge you to be a
little more aware, as communication and advocacy is a huge part of this
business. However, if it truly is an interface that is being optimized for
one tool, I would suggest that you are walking down a treacherous path and
might want to think long and hard about it.
FWIW - and good luck in your search (sadly I do not know anyone in the
Chicago area that might be a candidate...)
