The doctor opted to do more tests to absolutely verify malignancy
before being more aggressive. He took a sample about the size and
thickness of a shirt button from the inside of my toe. So, it's not
too bad, though the local anesthetic has yet to wear off. Now 10 long
days for biopsy results.

All this talk of me and me toe makes me uncomfortable. Assume no news
is good news. :-)

Randi brought up an excellent point about the need for many here who
can't see their own skin to have it checked by others.
