Hi all,
My company is going to be updating a public form... and needs to be 508.
A few years ago, I had asked about the ext js 4 framework, and as I
recall was discouraged, but I am asking again.,
http://www.sencha.com/products/extjs/examples/#sample-11
Using a prototype of the actual form (not public) , I had no problem
accessing the combobox and making a selection using NVDA screenreader.
I also could tab through this with no problem.
Since I am not an expert with a screen reader, I wanted to hear what
others thought.
The other solution maybe to use the combobox in Richfaces.
http://richfaces-showcase.appspot.com/richfaces/component-sample.jsf?demo=ajax&sample=selectsUpdates&skin=blueSky
I did not run NVDA but could access it without a mouse.
When I did a view source on this sample, I did not like the amount of
clientside coding here.
Thanks in advance
